What is the Veterans Build Initiative:
Habitat for Humanity of Pulaski County Kentucky has teamed up with Habitat for Humanity International and affiliates across the country as an official Veterans Build partner to serve U.S. Veterans, military service members, and their families.
As a Veterans Build affiliate, we are proud to serve those who have served our country. This initiative works to provide opportunities for veterans and military families with three different programs:
Home Repairs:
Serving veteran homeowners with necessary improvements
to keep them in their homes with safety and dignity.
Service:
For veterans and military families, transition can be challenging. We offer Veterans an opportunity to continue public service.
Homeownership:
Affordable homeownership opportunities for veteran and military families, details on the back of the brochure.
Help Us Honor Purple Heart Recipients
Purple Heart Veterans Village was created to recognize the extraordinary courage, sacrifice, and service of America's Purple Heart recipients. While the homes in the village have already been selected, our mission extends beyond housing. We want to ensure that every Purple Heart recipient in our community is remembered and honored.
We invite veterans, family members, friends, and community members to help us identify Purple Heart recipients by completing the submission form below. Whether the recipient is living or has passed away, every submission helps us preserve their legacy and recognize their service.
Together, we can create a lasting tribute that honors the brave men and women who were wounded or gave so much in defense of our nation.
