More than a mere race, this event is a testament to community spirit, where runners, supporters, and the entire community unite for a day of fitness, fun, and philanthropy. Jim Brink, a dedicated volunteer at Habitat for Humanity of Pulaski County, emphasizes the event's impact, stating, "This is about more than just running; it's about collective action to make a lasting difference. Join the Habitat for Humanity of Pulaski County, KY Veterans Build Initiative and play a pivotal role in constructing three veteran cottages by supporting our stud and truss sponsorship program. With studs priced at $25 and trusses at $100, your contribution of $20,000 would ensure the completion of all three homes.

For a donation of $25, you can sponsor a stud, a fundamental component in the construction of a Habitat home. Each home requires over 200 studs, and 17 trusses highlighting the significance of every donation.

Stud and Truss sponsorships are open to individuals, businesses, groups, organizations, and schools, providing an opportunity for all to contribute. Your sponsorship is eligible for a tax deduction, making it a meaningful investment in the community.

Select the number of studs you wish to sponsor, ranging from 1 for $25 to 600 and 51 trusses for $20,000. 

Your sponsorship will contribute to the realization of a local veteran's forever home, leaving a lasting impact and spreading joy within the community.
